You will find that in Currie Hall
People are nice to one another.
Life here is much like a Ball,
Everyone loves each other!
Here the smiles just keep on flowing.
Yet within the hearts of some
Lie a dirty little secret…
As disgusting as a stranger’s come,
Is concealed and bitter hatred.
Yet the smiles just keep on flowing.
Within mine own tissued cell
Are things I will never reveal.
That I think this place an Earthly Hell,
And part of a Devil’s deal.
Still, the smiles just keep on flowing.
Across the hall I see a man,
It turns out he is my friend;
I smile and raise my hand,
“Hello there! You at the end!”
And the smiles just keep on flowing.
Down the stairs comes a girl,
Could it be someone I know?
She comes down and does a twirl,
Who’s she? Don’t know. Jane Doe?
Sure, the smiles just keep on flowing.
In the toilet’s someone I hate:
A conceited little prick.
I may pretend he’s my mate,
But I think he’s a f**king dick.
Lo! the smiles just keep on flowing.
Pretences, pretences!
They abound in Currie Hall;
Diplomacy, no offences!
To live here, be a doll,
And let the smiles just keep on flowing.
