Most of us think that the only thing that is important about money, is that we get more of it. However, with money comes a change in mindset, something many of us are unprepared for. This leads to a changes we cannot handle, and we end up more miserable than before.
Handling Shin-Splints
I always thought that running slowly was the way to avoid injury, but it seems that it was the cause of the injury I was trying to avoid. A foolish consistency in thought stuck me in that mindset for a long time, until a fortunate accident provoked me into thinking otherwise -- perhaps running faster helps prevent injury.

Making Mistakes
While looking into these people's cars, you wonder how many of them will still be alive in ten year's time. How many of them won't own the same car. In a hundred years time, these people will probably be dead. And so will you. And the absurdity of people rushing to nowhere starts to hit you.
