Recently a young man, Nguyen Tuong Van, 25, of Vietnamese decent was hanged for trafficking drugs in Singapore. That case made quite a stir in Singapore and Australia, of whom he is a citizen.
In the media just before his death were dozens of reports on what both countries thought about his hanging.
The days and weeks after his hanging, reports on the drug problem in Australia became headline news. Apparently, this drug problem has been going on for years.
But for years, news of this drug problem never reached our shores.
Anyone else think this seems to hint at propaganda?
